“Each one should use whatever gift he has

received to serve others, faithfully

administering God's grace in its various

forms.” 1 Peter 4:10.

Review of literature indicates media affect

socialization because they influence values,

beliefs, attitudes, and behavior; they are

shapers, spreaders, and transformers of

culture. Considering we are a “,” It has also

been documented that adolescents adopt

attitudes that mimic themes common in

media messages and behave in ways that

reflect media content. As with Elisha, when

he said, "Bring me a minstrel," because he

believed the harper's music would be a real

help to him in experiencing God's presence and in

doing God's work. Moreover, he was right. For "it came

to pass, when the minstrel played, that the hand of the

Lord came upon him." We at Resurrection & New

Life Fellowship find the use of this form of ministry to

be both a source of liberation and empowerment,

because no matter how desperate a situation may seem,

we can be inspired to achieving miraculous victories.

We further believe that the use of dancing, puppets,

theater, film, music and visual arts have a tremendous

impact on people. A simple monologue or heartfelt

song can bring about eternal change in a person’s life.

In a world that has become more entertainment and

media driven, the church must find new

methods to deliver the unchanging message

of hope and salvation through Jesus Christ

to a constantly changing world.

Children Learn What They Live

"Dorothy Law Nolte"

If a child lives with critism,

He learns to condemn

If a child lives with hostility,

He learns to fight

If a child lives with ridicule,

He learns to be shy

If a child lives with shame,

He learns to feel guilty

If a child lives with tolerance,

He learns to be patient

If a child lives with encouragement,

He learns confidenceIf a child lives

with praise,

He learns to appreciate

If a child lives with fairness,

He learns justice

If a child lives with sicurity,

He learns to have faith

If a child lives with approval,

He learns to like himself

If a child with acceptance, and

friendship,

He learns to find acceptance in the

world.
